On the morning of August 25, County Party Secretary Teng Anda visited Huangtan Town to conduct a field inspection of grassroots-level work. He emphasized the need to unite and pool efforts to ensure steady economic growth, safeguard public safety, and improve people’s livelihoods; to proactively integrate into the new pattern of urban development; to create a vibrant new vision for a livable and business-friendly town; and to make every effort to build a prosperous, beautiful, and modern Huangtan. Teng Anda first visited Lianxi Village, where he inspected the progress of the riverside resettlement housing project and conducted an in-depth field study of initiatives such as the pilot program for village security and public‑order officers and the development of model rental‑housing units. He commended the village’s efforts to centrally install smart charging stations, implement the “E‑Rent Code” system, and designate separate kitchens, while urging the village to continuously strengthen grassroots governance, fully leverage the roles of security and public‑order officers and grid workers, and rigorously carry out science‑education campaigns, risk assessments, and remediation measures to resolutely eliminate safety blind spots and prevent any resurgence of problems. Following this, Teng Anda visited the workshop of Ningbo Changhua Copper Products Co., Ltd., providing on‑site services to support the company’s growth. Upon learning that the enterprise had achieved a total industrial output value of RMB 71.934 million from January to July this year—up 19.0% year over year—he remarked that Changhua is small yet refined and elegant, with broad prospects for future development. He expressed hope that the company would continue to maintain its strong momentum against headwinds and forge ahead on the path of high‑quality growth.

At the symposium, after listening to the town’s work report, Teng Anda pointed out that the Party and government leadership team of Huangtan Town should uphold the fine tradition of “unity, rigor, seriousness, and vitality,” adhere to the approach of “hard work combined with smart work,” and work together to deliver outstanding results in economic and social development. It is essential to strengthen public‑service delivery, taking public satisfaction as the benchmark, actively responding to the people’s new expectations and demands in areas vital to their well‑being, and focusing on key tasks such as elderly care, education, boosting collective‑economy incomes, and developing the Chinese torreya industry, thereby continuously enhancing people’s welfare. Efforts must be made to advance major projects, treating project implementation as a practical training ground for testing cadres’ conduct and capabilities, and vigorously pushing forward land acquisition and relocation for major initiatives like the reconstruction and expansion of the Yongtaiwen Expressway, ensuring smooth progress without hindrance. A solid safety baseline must be established, with a strong focus on safeguarding the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This entails mounting a coordinated response to epidemic prevention and control, workplace safety, fire safety, and petition‑related stability maintenance, proactively addressing extreme weather conditions, strengthening drinking‑water security, strictly preventing forest fires, and implementing comprehensive measures for typhoon and flood preparedness, so as to secure a decisive victory in the battle to eliminate risks and ensure public safety. Finally, the grassroots foundation must be consolidated, guided by the “Two Highs” foundational‑strengthening initiative rooted in red heritage, continuously enhancing the political judgment, understanding, and execution capabilities of Party members and cadres, steadily building a stronger workforce, invigorating vitality, and forging a robust fighting fortress for the new era.

Teng Anda emphasized that Huangtan, situated in close proximity to the urban area and a major industrial town, must, in its next phase of work, engage in proactive planning and ensure the effective implementation of the upcoming large-scale campaign to enhance the living environment and comprehensively rectify self-built houses across the entire region. It should intensify efforts under the “demolish one, build one, and carry out two rounds of remediation” approach, continuously improving the townscape and creating an even more livable and secure environment. Furthermore, it is essential to maintain steadfast resolve, deepen comprehensive governance of the industrial sector, strengthen measures to support businesses and alleviate their difficulties, and steadily advance the stabilization and improvement of the industrial economy, thereby making greater contributions to the county’s overall economic growth, stability, and quality enhancement. Finally, all parties should move in concert, proactively integrate into the overarching “Three Mountains and Two Banks” master plan, promote coordinated development between Huangtan and Yuelong, and continually elevate the city’s functional capacity and urban standing.
